I don't like horror movies.

- Really? Why not?

 

I just don't fine them very entertaining.

- OK. Fair enough.

*Fair enough: 그럴 수 있지, 뭐 그럴 수 있겠네 (그럴만하다 x)

 

Although, I used to watch 전설의 고향 as a kid. Do you remember that show?

- Absolutely. I love that show. So what made you watch that?

*So what made you watch that? : 그걸 어떻게 보게 됐는데? 어쩌다 본거야?

(= How come you watch that?)

 

I don't know. There was something about that show that made it so fun to watch.

- There certainly was a unique quality to it.: 확실히 독특한 요소가 있어.

If they came out with a modern version of that show, I might give it a try.

- Yeah, that would be amazing!

But I feel like they just don't put in as much thought into horror movies as they used to.

(예전만큼 공포영화를 만드는데 신경 쓰는 거 같지 않아/정성 들여서 만드는 거 같지 않아)

- That's what you say about music. 

 

I guess there still is a place for movies like that, especially with younger people who are just looking for cheap thrills. I guess I'm just getting old.
